If your application requires greater torque and less speed than the base unit provides, the Tritex II is available with an integral servo grade planetary gear reducer. Gear ratios of 4:1 to 100:1 allow the power of Tritex II to be applied over a broad range of torque requirements.
Rated torque output of R2G geared actuator is calculated by multiplication of selected motor’s rated torque with indicated ratios of each size RDG gearmotor and efficiency. It is possible to select a configuration of the motor and gear ratio such that exceeds actuator’s mechanical torque limit. It is the responsibility of the user to ensure that the settings of the system do not allow these values to be exceeded.
